Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms set out what I will do for you and what I will need from you, so everything is clear from the start. The services are provided by baresite.link ("I", "me", "my") to you ("you", "client"). If you request a project or start a managed plan, you agree to these terms. Contact: [email protected].

2. Services

I design and build one-page websites and related assets, as described on my site and in your proposal. Services may include design, development, hosting setup, and optional ongoing management.

3. Project scope and revisions

Your project scope will be confirmed before work starts (typically one page with agreed sections and content). After delivery, you get up to two minor revision rounds (for example: copy edits, small layout tweaks, image swaps). Anything outside that (new sections, major redesigns, extra pages, extra revision rounds) will be quoted at an agreed rate.

4. Turnaround time

Standard turnaround is usually 48 hours once I have your final copy, assets, and any required approvals. If feedback or materials are delayed, delivery dates may move accordingly.

5. Client responsibilities

You’re responsible for providing accurate content, logos, and assets, and confirming you have the rights to use them. Please review drafts promptly and share feedback within a reasonable timeframe so I can stay on schedule.

6. Fees and payment

Prices are listed on my site in GBP. VAT may apply where required. One-time build fees are due upfront unless I agree otherwise in writing. Managed plans are billed monthly in advance. If a payment is late, work and/or hosting may be paused until things are back up to date.

7. Hosting and domains

Managed hosting: If you choose a managed plan, I will set up and manage your website hosting for you. The website build fee is paid upfront.

Managed + Domain plan: On this plan, I purchase and renew the domain on your behalf while your plan is active. If you cancel, the domain can only be transferred away after 3 billing cycles have passed from the plan start date, and any registrar transfer lock period has ended (often about 60 days).

If you already have a domain: I can connect your domain to your website (DNS setup). I do not manage domains bought elsewhere, and I may not be able to help with purchasing domains from other providers.

Self-hosting: If you host the site yourself, you're responsible for setup, security, updates, and ongoing maintenance.

8. Intellectual property

Once full payment is received, you own the final website files and the content you provided. I keep ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, and reusable code components used to deliver the project.

9. Third-party services

I may use third-party services (for example: hosting, analytics, email providers, or domain registrars). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and you may need to agree to their separate terms where applicable.

10. Warranties and liability

I provide services with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or business interruption. My total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the services that gave rise to the claim.

11. Termination and refunds

If you don’t follow these terms, I may pause or stop services. If work has started, fees already paid are non-refundable unless I agree otherwise in writing. Managed plans can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice; hosting continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date. The terms that apply are the ones in place when you place your order or start your plan.

13. Breach and suspension

If you breach these terms, I may suspend or stop services without refund, unless I agree a different outcome in writing.
