Legal
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: January 20, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before requesting a project.
1. About these terms
These terms explain how barepage.link works and apply to all projects and plans. The services are provided by barepage.link ("I", "me", "my") to you ("you", "client"). By requesting a project, paying a fee, or using a plan, you agree to these terms. Contact: [email protected].
2. Services and deliverables
I design and build one-page websites and related assets, as described on my site and in your proposal. Deliverables typically include the site files (HTML/CSS/JS), optimized assets, and a sitemap. Any additional services or features must be agreed in writing.
3. Project scope and revisions
Your project scope will be confirmed before work starts (typically one page with agreed sections and content). After the first delivery, you get up to one minor revision round (copy edits, small layout tweaks, image swaps). Anything outside that scope (new sections, major redesigns, extra pages, new functionality, additional revision rounds) will be quoted at an agreed rate.
4. Turnaround time
Standard turnaround is usually 48 business hours once I have your final copy, assets, approvals, and any required access. If feedback or materials are delayed, delivery dates may move accordingly.
5. Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate content, logos, and assets, and confirming you have the rights to use them. Please review drafts promptly, provide a single decision-maker, and share feedback within a reasonable timeframe so I can stay on schedule. You are also responsible for any legal compliance of your content (including required notices, claims, and permissions).
6. Plans and ongoing support
Basic Plan includes uptime monitoring and fixes if anything breaks on the live site (issues related to the site files; third-party outages are excluded). Managed Plan includes everything in the Basic Plan plus up to two small edits per month (text, photos, hours, contact details). Edits apply to the existing one-page site, do not roll over, and larger changes will be quoted separately.
7. Fees and payment
Prices are listed on my site in GBP. VAT may apply where required. One-time build fees are due upfront unless I agree otherwise in writing. The Basic Plan can be billed monthly or yearly in advance. The Managed Plan is billed monthly in advance. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. If a payment is late or fails, work and/or plan services may be paused until the account is up to date.
8. Hosting and domains
Hosting: If you are on a Basic or Managed Plan, hosting is included for the duration of the active subscription. If you choose the one-time build only, you are responsible for your own hosting and hosting fees unless we agree otherwise in writing. If a plan ends, you are responsible for moving the site to your own hosting. unless I agree otherwise in writing.
Domains: If you already have a domain, I can connect it to your website (DNS setup). I do not manage domains bought elsewhere, and support may be limited by your registrar. Once the DNS records are set and shared with you, any changes made in your domain provider's DNS console are your responsibility. If DNS changes or provider issues take the site offline, I am not responsible for resulting downtime.
Self-hosting: If you host the site yourself, you are responsible for setup, security, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
9. Third-party services
I may use third-party services (for example: hosting, analytics, email providers, or Stripe). Their availability and terms are outside my control, and you may need to agree to their separate terms where applicable.
10. Intellectual property
Once full payment is received, you own the final website files and the content you provided. I keep ownership of any pre-existing tools, templates, and reusable code components used to deliver the project. You grant me a limited license to use your materials solely to perform the services.
11. Warranties and liability
I provide services with reasonable skill and care. The website is provided "as is" and I do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or business interruption. My total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the services that gave rise to the claim.
12. Termination and refunds
Plans can be cancelled by emailing [email protected]; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If work has started, fees already paid are non-refundable unless I agree otherwise in writing. If you end a plan, ongoing support and edits stop at the end of the billing period.
13. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date. The terms that apply are the ones in place when you place your order or start your plan.
14. Breach and suspension
If you breach these terms or fail to pay on time, I may suspend or stop services without refund, unless I agree a different outcome in writing.
